Great stay at Sea Oats. The pools were very nice, and access to the beach right across the street was great! Met some condo owners at the pool, some first timers like us and some repeat customers, and all were happy folks. While this is an older complex it was well maintained and a good place to stay. We would stay here again. The coffee pot was not working properly, so I would recommend a replacement :)

This is our 5th time in same condo. We will be staying next year again.

Amazing location and great condo! We had no WiFi access from check-in to check-out. We contacted the service folks ourselves per instructions as soon as we realized within the hour of checking-in. We stayed out most of the day but once we were back in the condo we wouldn’t receive any texts/calls/notifications/etc unless we left or went outside. Plus the young boys grew restless at night because of no electronic usage and no TV access in the Master bedroom. There was some trash and a cup under the bed and some food crumbs left on the dining room table. It was no biggie, but went ahead and cleaned that cup and placed back because I was worried we’d be blamed for the stuff under the bed. Overall great trip, but the no WiFi the whole trip was a bummer. Oh and the washer machine was REALLY loud and banging around at the end of the cycle, so much it scared us that I unplugged it to stop. No way the other tenants didn’t hear it 😬.

Enjoyed our stay at Sea Oats. Nice beach access. Pool was as nicer than any hotel we have been to. Enjoyed sitting out at the dock shelters in the evening. Everyone we met was so friendly. Would not mind coming back to stay again!

Forced to go to dinner when we planned to cook at the condo and relax after a 7 hour drive (we brought freezer and refrigerated foods) 3. Condo cleaned in about an hour and a half after we left to go get dinner. 4. House keeper did not have key and we had to drive back to condo to provide key, interrupting our dinner. 5. Cleaning fee was refunded and was offered an excursion for our entire party (we were there for ball tournaments and had a booked schedule that wouldn’t allow us to take part of any sort of excursion. 6. Asked for refund for one night since we couldn’t get into condo until 8:30pm and was declined request. 7. Management was prompt to answer back 8. Close to the beach 9. Hallway for condo entrances with stained carpets and odor in hall 10. Extra, clean, linens that were forgotten when condo got cleaned were left in dirty hallway the next morning.

I feel like the other reviewers were less than honest, or they did not have the issues we had, since we were there for about 3 weeks. The listing DOES say that there is no elevator, and I missed that part until I got there. Wow! what a difference it makes when there is one! Let me start with the positives: The kitchen is well stocked. The management company (iTrip) was fantastic! They were very responsive and helpful. It is also in Gulf Shores, I would say on the wrong side of the public beach (east has more walkability) but that may be arguable. The condo does have a beach access, but the beach is not very well maintained or usable. Now the negative: The Condo suffers from being aged, it has creaky floors as well as very uneven floors. By the bedrooms, there is a dip that can make you lose your footing. It smelled molding and musty. We had people upstairs and could hear every move they made, as well as when their dog was playing. They seemed to be stomping around all the time, night and day. Absolutely no sound proofing! I see others commenting about hearing neighbors as well in their reviews. Everything in the condo was the absolutely cheapest that could be bought, especially the appliances. The dishwasher was incredibly loud, with no sound proofing, the microwave was the cheapest that Walmart had on hand. The stove was from the 80's. The pool is not heated, and the hot tub is turned off when we were there (January). Not a walkable place. It was not a great stay!

Place was very clean. Very spacious condo and very well laid out. Right across the street from the beach and beach access. Had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The condo is in a perfect location. You do have to cross the street to get to the beach, but its far enough down, there isn't much traffic and close enough to the main area that it doesn't take long to get to all the restaurants and things & shops. The rooms where plenty big. It was a plus to have 2 bathrooms. Beds were comfy. Living area was nice. Balcony was great. Washer & Dryer were great. Full kitchen with every dish, cooking utensil you would need. Plenty of towels and washcloths for our family of 4. Only 2 things I would wish to change: 1 when they say they do not provide condiments they mean it. No salt & pepper, no cooking spray. Nothing. Please consider including those. No one wants to have to travel with or buy that stuff. 2 Pillows. the ones that were on the master bed where paper thin. I didn't travel with my own pillow and man I regretted it. And maybe one ore thing. Bath mats would be great. :) Would definitely stay there again.

First time to Gulf Shores and definitely not going to be the last. Condo was in a great location with nice accommodations.

My friends and I stayed here for the duration of hangout music festival. The unit was exactly like the pictures. Super clean and a few steps away from the beach. It was easy for us to make ourselves at home. The wifi was a bit spotty/slow, but cell service was good. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting gulf shores.

We loved our stay here! Beautiful condo right across from the beach. We enjoyed the pool, bbq grills, and fishing out back on the covered piers. It was quite our entire stay. My whole family really enjoyed it and we hope to be able to book this place again!

The unit was just as stated in the online description. Everything was clean and organized. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable!!!

The unit looked exactly like the pictures, everything was in order. The location was great!!! Just the right distance from attractions, shopping and eating. Also the beach was a short walk across the street. We we're very happy with everything.

Place was clean but needed a small amount of upkeep. I rate it a 8/10 compared to a phoenix. Mattresses were nice, felt like home. Sheets were clean. Each bathroom had like 4 bath towels, 4 wash clothes, and 2 hand towels if I remember right. Bathtub is slippery after conditioner but we found a tub mat in cabinet which fixed that issue. The washer and dryer worked good. The beach was literally across the street, 2 min walk. The condo has 2 pools and it felt like we had the pool to ourselves everyday, which was nice with a kiddo learning to swim. I only deducted a star because the master shower grout had some mold, the dead bolt on the door doesn't work properly, and the curtains in bedrooms are not blackout. And final note, parking passes.... We did not see anything about it in the listing, arrival email mentioned them but was unclear if it meant us, each day we went to door of office at E building to buy one and they were never there. It was a holiday weekend tho. I asked people at the pool and theirs were left in the room for them. So I guess we got the short straw. Hated that was so dang unclear but oh well. And hours after check out, I found out I had to text a number at check out. Why was this not told to us in the arrival email? Over all pretty good stay with some technical difficulties

To be completely transparent, online photos do not show the true condition of the condo. The exterior of the condo is extremely aged, and as soon as you walk in the building, you can’t help but notice the unkept floors and dirty walls. Once you enter the living quarters, it does not change much. The walls are very stained and dirty. The cabinets and drawers in inside the bathroom are literally barely hanging on, and both bathtubs are stained and should be completely removed. Even the oven is so outdated that is took twice as long to heat up/cook things. I am not opposed to things being a little outdated, but the cleanliness and appearance of a place is important, and I do not feel like there’s transparency when reviewing online photos. Be cautious or at least aware before renting!

Property was clean, easy check in/out process, and across the street from the beach. Fees were on the upper end of listings but this wasn't a deal breaker. Worth it.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo in Gulf Shores. It was large, clean, and decorated so nicely. We had the lagoon behind us and the ocean in front of us. One of the large pools was practically right outside our door. We brought 3 14 year old boys with us and they had a blast!!

Everything was fine, except for 1 bedroom didn't have a TV for the children to watch 😑. The refrigerator did not Cool the drinks, it may need some freon. Very nice and clean. Good location.

NO free parking. The listing states free parking and we didn't see otherwise until we read the email with check in procedures on the way down. I emailed the company managing the airbnb and they apologized for the confusion and said they would put in a request to have it changed on the listing. It has been exactly two weeks and it still hasn't changed which makes me feel like they are using this as a way to trick people into renting from them because most airbnbs in this area clearly state you must pay for parking. It shouldn't take two weeks to change misleading information. Had they changed this, I would have made it 4 stars. Check in was not seamless because we had to locate the office to buy the parking pass. The office is not clearly marked whatsoever and the only reason we knew where to go was because a maintenance man was hanging out outside the door. It was frustrating. This airbnb is in a good location and it was a decent place to stay if you don't want to fork out a lot of money on your vacation. The pool is huge and wasn't very crowded which was nice. They were quick to respond when I messaged them which was a positive as well. However, If you have small children that need it to be semi quiet during naps, I would consider staying elsewhere. The door to the bedroom didn't close all the way without force. Forceful opening and closing meant that we would wake the baby. Therefore, during nap times, we had to tip toe in the main area to ensure she didn't wake her up which was a pain because we had a 10 y/o with us and on vacation, the last thing you want to do is remind everyone to be super quiet. You could hear stomping from the people upstairs as well. I highly suggest a white noise machine for the littles. We would not stay here again and next time we visit, we will most certainly spend the extra money for a better place. However, if you have older kids who do not need a nap and would like a budget friendly place to stay, then I would recommend this place. I have never given anything less than 5 star ratings and I'm a very understanding person but the misleading information without correcting it, not having a clearly marked office to obtain the parking passes, and the inability to close the door just made our trip more challenging than it needed to be. I almost checked out and found a hotel. I wish the listing would have provided information regarding the door and paid parking. I wish that they would have clearly marked the front office and stated where it was in the check in procedures email. And when I reached out to them, they should have waived the parking passes due to their mistake. Also, you have to put your dishes away after cleaning them after check out. I have never stayed in an airbnb where you had to do this. Usually you just need to run the dishwasher on your way out. This ends up being unsanitary because people who are in a hurry to check out, will just wipe the dishes without cleaning them and put them away. Many of the cups were dirty in the bottom. We went out and bought plastic cups, foil, and utensils because we didn't feel like washing everything before using it or having to wait for the dishwasher to stop and dry before putting them away (or handwashing everything which would have been faster, I guess).

We stayed for about 4-5 days, we brought 2 trash bags which we used. We brought paper plates, paper Bowls, throw away utensils so that we wouldn’t have to do any cleaning or dishes on vacation. They provided 2 trash bags which was helpful. The space stayed fairly cool during our visit we never got hot in our rooms. It was nice to have a pool! Only thing I’d say is the hall bathroom be careful walking in and out of the bathroom because the vent is legit right as you walk in and we kept catching our toes and it hurt! Other than that just bring what you think you’ll need. If you don’t there’s a Walmart legit less than 15 minutes away!

Our condo was clean, comfortable beds, and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. The condo has a regular coffee maker and a Keurig (wish we had known before buying filters and coffee for regular pot.) The beach was just a short walk across the street. The pool was great for times when the wind was too strong or cool on the beach. I appreciated how itrip kept me posted about important things such and the beach closing due to dangerous water conditions, check in and check out reminders, etc. Overall, we had a great stay and we would stay here again.

Really enjoyed the property and location. The furniture and amenities were accurate from the pictures. The floors were not very clean upon arrival. Our socks turned gray quickly. We also had to vacuum soon after arrival. Would be nice to have the Big 10 network as so many of us snowbirds are from the Midwest.

We loved the property. From our balcony you could see the lagoon behind us and the beach in front of us. It was clean and comfortable. Mike, the gentleman we dealt with for our parking pass was a super nice guy We would definitely stay here again.

Kid friendly, teenager friendly, family friendly environment

The condo was really nice. The pool was close and large enough that we did not feel cramped with other families. The beach was beautiful and very close.

Descent location, out of the busy part of Gulf Shores but not a gret distance to drive someplace. Hot tub is 1 foot deep, not good for adults. 2 pools are nice. Painting needed on outside of facilities.

Cute place right in between the little lagoon and beach! Just 5 minutes from all of the major restaurants and tourist location yet far enough away to enjoy the serenity!

I stayed in this condo for a week with my wife and 2 kids(5 & 8). We really enjoyed our stay. Overall, I think this condo has a great location being right on the lagoon, and right across the street from the beach. It is close to the action of the town, but far enough to be a bit less crowded. The condo itself is very clean inside and I think was a great property for our family. The docks in the lagoon are still damaged from the last storm, and it was difficult to get our parking pass(the office is hidden, no sign, just a random door under a random building). Overall we had a great stay and would book again!

The condo itself was awesome. I had trouble figuring out the parking pass but it ended up fine. Sam and his crew were amazing! The outer parts of the property such as the hallway and the stairs were kind of grungy. This would not be a reflection on the owner of the condo. Would I stay again, definitely yes. There were a few hiccups but nothing that didn't work out and nothing the condo owner could control. Overall a great visit and I can't wait to go back.

We came to gulf shores for the pomp stomp fishing. We had a great time. The condo was great a lot of space and very clean. I felt safe and secure on the grounds. Everyone was very nice. We stayed on beach all day and on the bay at night. I loved you could stand on balconies and look to left and see beach and to right see the bay. We will go back and stay.

Sea Oats is a nice complex with easy access to the beach, bay, and pools. The unit was clean and the beds were comfy. The hallways to the units could use a little cleaning but that is more of a condo association issue. We’ll definitely be back, but will probably wait until COVID numbers are down as the mask wearing in Gulf Shores is basically non-existent.

Honestly the BEST location! Across the street from the beach, and has the lagoon and a big grasses area behind you for fishing/family picnic, etc! Will visit again!

Great place that is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach in one direction and then a lagoon for fishing in the other direction. Great pool onsite as well.

The unit was very clean, ocean on one side, bay on the other. Alot of walking areas. We don't fish but watched many fishermen.

We hadn’t taken any vacay since Covid. We were nervous to go the beach but though this property would be good since it wasn’t as close to the center as we usually stay. It was totally perfect. The complex has 2 pools, is smaller (no elevators) had never seemed overly busy. Quick walk to the beach and decor in condo was really updated and beach. Beds were so nice too! I find a lot of uncomfortable Vrbo beds but these were nice hotel Quality. Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. We relaxed by the pool most days and the walk to the beach was short. This is a quiet, family-friendly area.

We enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with our accommodations. The Sea Oats I-103 is a charming unit that has been recently updated. We loved being able to fish from the piers out back, plenty of lawn for kids to enjoy and close access to the beach.

The beds and linens are not super comfortable so you might want to bring your own linens. Especially heavier blankets or comforters because the blankets are thin and no comforters are provided. Make sure to bring your own toilet paper trash bags and paper towels, because there are extremely limited amounts provided. The kitchen is well stocked so cooking in the condo is a good experience. The decor is very cozy and the location is good.
